(1) Remember my Royal Enfield Himalayan? Yup... sold it off a few weeks before Circuit breaker! I felt owning 3 bikes were too much of a hassle and costly to maintain... so I've decided to sell it off as I have the Tricity for all my heavy lifting/safe riding and Tiger for the power/big bike feel... it was also good timing as the Covid-19 essentially locked down both Malaysia and Singapore so no opportunity to do adventure riding :(
I really had a lot of fun off-roading in JB... yes, it lacked power but the handling was awesome.
(2) PC Building
In late May 2020, I upgraded my 6-year old PC with a Ryzen 5 3600 build! Total damage? Around $1500... the best thing about upgrading my PC? I can now play FPS without getting motion sickness!!! Many thanks to 7-Days to Die and Borderlands 3 :)
(3) Weight Lifting
At the end of 2019, I've decided to do less cardio and focused more on lifting weights. I'm not bulking up as it requires a lot of discipline to do so. After 6 months, I can say that I'm 50% stronger. I can bench / deadlift / squat at 60kg. These compound exercises are also excellent replacements of my usual cardio exercises like cycling and jogging! I spent about $600 at Decathlon for their rack and weights. Glad that I bought them in early January because weights were all sold out in Singapore shortly after Circuit Breaker started!
(4) SUP Paddle Boarding + Fishing
Yup! Just spent like $1000 at Decathlon to get myself on the sea! I wanted to get a kayak but the problem of storage is real so i opted for an inflatable paddle board. It is really a fantastic experience! Too lazy to type out so here are some pics:
